Supplier Search: User Guide
Locate IAG preferred suppliers near your customer to resolve their claim quickly and conveniently.
To search for a supplier by name
Step 1: Access site
Open www.suppliersearch.iag.co.nz in your internet-connected browser.
Step 2: Enter search text
Start typing a supplier name into the search field e.g. ‘Panel’
Step 3: Select a supplier
Select a supplier from the generated list and click the ‘Search’ button
Step 4: View full supplier details
Select either the summary tile from the list or the pin on the map to reveal full contact details for the business.
To see a Google Maps version of the location, you can select ‘Get directions’ and the location will open in a new browser tab.
Note: On mobile devices, ‘View supplier details’ needs to be clicked in order to see the full contact details
Step 5: Copy details to clipboard and return to results
You can copy the full contact details - including their respective details to your clipboard, for pasting into another application such as an email client, by clicking ‘Copy’. You can then paste the details into an email or other document by pressing ‘Ctrl+v’ on your keyboard or pasting on your mobile device.
Return to your search results by selecting ‘Back to results’
Step 6: Start a new search
To search for a supplier by location
Step 1: Access site
Open www.suppliersearch.iag.co.nz in your internet-connected browser.
Step 2: Enter search text
Start typing a street address or supplier name into the search field e.g. ‘45 Station Street’ or Repairs’
Addresses and businesses that match or are similar to your entered text, will appear as selectable suggestions in a dropdown.
Step 3: Select an address and supplier type
Selecting a street address from the generated list will trigger the ‘Supplier Types’ buttons which let you choose between a Motor, Home or Contents supplier search. You can also check the associated that you wish to search.
Step 4: Select search range
Depending on where your customer is based you can decide to search any distance between 1 - 25km kilometres from your selected street address. This can be adjusted by dragging the UI slider left or right and then clicking ‘Search’.
Step 5: Filter motor results by All or AMI Motorhub
When your search is for Motor suppliers, you are able to filter the results to show only AMI Motorhub branches. Selecting the ‘All suppliers’ tab will show all results including any AMI Motorhub branches within the search range.
Step 6: Load more results
If there are more than 5 suppliers retrieved in the search results, a ‘Load more suppliers’ button will be available, enabling you to list more suppliers by extending the range of the search.
Note: Nationwide Suppliers that are available within the search area will be labelled accordingly. See below:
